Our Tenth Dungeon is The Church of The Eternal Flame

Another smaller Location, but one that could be placed anywhere you need it to be in your campaign, You could even use it as a small Church or chapel with in a settlement, rather than a dungeon location.

Location: A Building in a city
Creator:  Humans – Chaotic Good - Cleric
Dungeon Purpose: Temple
History: Original Creator still in control

This Church is dedicated to the god of The Eternal Flame. The Church of the Eternal Flame is dedicated to routing out corruption and Evil wherever it can be found.

Some of their clerics have been accused of being fanatical and have become feared by the common folk as their vehemence and zealotry have led to people being tortured and burned alive on pyres with little or no evidence to support their sentence other than the word of a Priest of the Eternal Flame

Dungeon Environment:

These environmental and atmospheric features should be used to give a general feeling for the dungeon and can be placed in any rooms that you feel they should feature. They can be used as little or as often as you feel is appropriate for your game.

Noises: Crackle of burning, rustling, murmuring, chanting, whispering.
Air: Hazy ad Warm.
Odours: Acrid & Smokey.
General Features: Ashes, Candle Stubs, Wax Drippings,
Religious Articles and Furnishings: Braziers, Holy Symbols, Altar, Stands, statues,  Pews, Pulpit, Robes, Side Chairs, Incense burners.

Room 1: Church Vestibule

Contents: Empty
Door 1: Double: Brass Doors embossed and etched with large flames.
Room Purpose: A Place for people to wait for sermons, or to gather.
Current Chamber State: Filled with benches, coat racks and religious paintings, symbols and texts.

Room 2: Chapel of the Eternal Flame

Contents: Empty
Door 1: Stone
Door 2: Stone
Room Purpose: Worship of The Eternal Flame.
Current Chamber State: Being used for Worship.

Room 3: High Priests Chambers

Contents: High Priest
Room Purpose: A place for the high Priest to conduct his business.
Current Chamber State: A large desk and a few chairs, Large bookcases and religious Items.

Room 4: Library & study

Contents: Acolytes of the Flame
Room Purpose: Research, & Recording Histories of the Church.
Current Chamber State: Books, scrolls and maps are spread out over a large table, while acolytes & scribes write in large books.
