Hello and thanks for taking the time to read our blog. I just wanted to give you guys a quick run down of what we do and why we are doing it.
Dan and I have been friends fro a long time, and one of the core things that has run through our friendship has been gaming. We have played so many different games together I forget the names of them all.
We started with Heroquest as so many gamers of our generation did, moved on to Advanced Heroquest and Advanced Space Crusade, then on to the inevitable Warhammer 40K.
Dab started with his Space wolves and then his Tyranids. Me i have always been an Imperial Guard Player.
Anyway life takes you off in other directions, and although we grew up together I went to the states and Dan went his way. Fast forward almost a decade and here i am back in the UK. I launched ROTDOG games, and started selling other peoples games and accessories, and we started playing games together again.
After a few ups and downs ROTDOG settled in to its place on the Online community, selling games to faceless people. Now I am not complaining about that, but its not really why I started a game shop, but its very expensive to have a physical shop in a prime location, and there are lots of people doing it.
One day I was talking to Dan about this whilst playing one of our favourite game Zombie Survival Horror Game Last Night on Earth, by the folks over at Flying Frog Productions (if you haven’t played it get out and get a copy its amazing!) and he suggested that we should make our own board game, and after a bit of mucking around and silliness which always seems to be involved in our game playing, we settled on an idea to launch our own games company.
Now we don’t think we can do it better than anyone else, there are already lots of people making amazing games that we love playing, but we have some original ideas, stories worlds and characters that we want to bring to life and share with other like minded people.
Thats how DMB Games was born. While we are working on our own board game in the background (watch this space for more info on that) we wanted to produce some 3D terrain for tabletop Roleplaying games and accessories.
So thats our first product, and lots more about that will be explained in more detail in later blog posts with pictures and all the gubins that normally comes with this sort of thing!
Please feel free to let us know if you have any questions or comments, and please like our Facebook Page to keep up with the development of the products!
Thanks for reading and supporting us in anyway you can!
