Hello Everyone!
I have some pictures of the first casts out of the mold of the new tiles and wanted to share them with you all. There are a lot of pictures in this Update so it may take some time to load on mobile devices, but bear with us its worth it 🙂
As with all first casts, there are a few imperfections in the tiles that won’t show up on the production run tiles, but enough of the prefacing let’s get to the pictures of the new pieces.
Let’s start with a group photo

As you can see we have a range of pieces, from the large 4×4 to the little lock box and some of the decorative wall and special floor tiles as well.
So let’s dive straight in and take a look at the new Floor Tiles
New Wooden Floor Tiles

As you can see they look fantastic, and are going to paint up wonderfully. I am really impressed with the way the wood grain has been picked up and how sharp the look.
I have taken some close-ups of each tile so you can see what i mean.

As you can see from these close-ups there are a few minor air bubbles, but nothing that will show up on the production, or make a difference when painted up.
4×4 Plain Cracked Flagstone Floor Tile
This is one of the largest tiles we have in the KS,

Again I’m impressed with the detail its picked up in the molding process and the sharpness and definition of the cracks here is a close up to show you what I mean

.My photography skills are not great, but hopefully, you’ll see what I mean 🙂
2×2 Pit Trap Tile
Next, we have one of the special floor tiles the Pit Trap!

Not much to say about this one other than, its awesome looking.
Resin Puddle Tile

Here you can see the empty shell of what will be the Resin puddle tile. Once painted up and filled with water effect resin, this will look amazing!
Let’s look at some of the wall tiles next
Small Decorative Walls
Next, we have a couple of pictures of the Small Decorative Walls

All of these look great and here is a quick bonus picture of them set up as a T-Junction

Next, we have some Pillars…
Accessories – Pillars

This Pillar is great, it can be used to support walls for multi-level dungeons and is a solid cover piece as well.

These Pillars come as part of the Cavern set and as part of the reward set as well, and again the detail that’s been picked up from the stone texture is amazing.
No More Plaster Products
We have recently closed the Pledge Manager for the Kickstarter and are in the process of fulfilling all Pledges processed through it.
With the Pledge manager now closed, we are no longer accepting late Pledges but will be launching the products on the website for Pre-Order shortly.
This means that we will no longer be making any Plaster items, as we change around the workshop to have more storage and painting/packing areas.
This means that for a few days you won’t be able to order anything from us except the core sets already on the Website while we add the rest of the items from the Kickstarter to the website in their retail forms.
Well, that’s it from me for now, ill post more as more pieces come in, and as we start fulfilling, now that I have approved these samples, and we know what processes the caster needs to use to make sure that the accessories and patterned floor tiles need to go through to get the best finish on them, we will start getting the pieces in to dispatch to you.
As always let me know what you think in the comments and if anyone has any question feel free to ask!
Thanks
Andy @ DMB
